The splice hole shall be dug so that there is plenty of space in the longitudinal direction from the socket and towards the ground / wall, so that the technician can easily work with the socket / cable.
Dig a step of 40 x 40 x 30 cm so you can easily get up and down the hole. The optimal standard splice hole is made as in the sketch below.
The length of the splice hole must be at least 200 cm. on each side of the break.
It saves both time and money and thus helps to minimize the costs that can be invoiced to you as a damage causer.
